The workplace has many stressors and it can be very difficult to get through a full days of work for some people.

The economy today is in dismay and the demands at your place of work contributes to that depending on what type of business you work for. There is a lot of tension and uncertainty on if a person has a job or does not due to the government changes. With any uncertainty stress triggers the mind and you may start having anxiety with wonder. If people lose their job depression may sneak in because they are not sure what to do to get back in the workforce. Stress in the workplace can cause lots of problems within the organization as well.

If you ask anyone that has a demanding job they will tell you that the stress of their job makes them feel this way most days.

Stressful jobs

There are a lot of stressful jobs. Secretaries, waitresses, middle managers, police officers, editors, are medical staff are some of the most highly stressed occupations marked by the need to respond to others demands and time, with little control over events (Stress in the workplace, 2018). There are more highly stressed occupations but this is just some that come to mind when helping others. The stress from these jobs makes our body, mind and behavior to change. With these changes, who we are as a person may also change. Having techniques to help minimize the affects of stress will minimize the chances of change. Exercise, therapy, and possibly finding a new job may help minimize the workplace stress.
